The Wine and Candle Photo Contest is a great way to introduce friends, family, and co-workers to As Good as Gold. Photos of goldens and golden mixes are submitted. Voting takes place. The winners’ names and photos are put on custom wine and candle labels for everyone to enjoy.
The contest consists of two parts:
- Submit your dog’s photo for the contest.
- Vote on your favorite dog pictures.
The contest begins with submissions of goldens and golden mixes. The dogs do not need to be As Good as Gold dogs and you do not need to be a member to submit a photo. There is no cost to submit your photo for the contest. See our guidelines for submitted photos.
You can submit your photo to contest@asgoodasgold.org. Please include your name and your dogs name.
Once all entries are received, the actual competition begins! During a four-week period, votes—each requiring a $2 tax-deductible donation—are cast for the participating dogs. You can vote for as many dogs as you like and as often as you wish. Since vote totals are tallied in real-time, you will always know where your favorite(s) stand!
At the close of the contest, the 12 dogs compiling the most votes will be declared the winners.
How can you help?
We’ve created a flyer you can download and print. Post it in a break room, pass out to neighbors or wherever you’d be able to promote our contest. The more entries, the better!
Aspen Lane Wine Company, in Aurora, IL, continues as our vendor and will offer a variety of both red and white wines in the standard 750 ml bottle.
We look forward to your participation this year!
