Are you looking for a great walking partner?  I love my walks!  I take a few long walks a day and would love to go for hours.  I always let foster mom know when it’s time for my next walk.  My other favorite thing is to go with you on car rides.  It’s so much fun to see all the sights.

I am a well-mannered boy and a great house guest.  I am a mix, and a very handsome one I might add.  I have a beautiful mahogany colored coat with white markings.  I was given up by my owners in Puerto Rico and came up to As Good as Gold so they could help me get better.  I was heartworm positive and am done with my treatment and ready to find my forever family.

I am an independent kind of guy, but like to be near you.  I will hang out with you out in the yard or keep you company when you watch tv at night.  I will give you the occasional kiss and love to be petted and brushed.  I am just an easy-going guy that rolls with the flow of life.  I hang out in the morning chewing on my favorite bone and don’t get too excited over toys, but I do love a good game of chase with foster mom.

On my walks, I am learning that I don’t need to bark at other dogs and get all crazy.  When I am on a leash, I am leash reactive to other dogs.  But, I am fine with other dogs when I get to be with them around my foster mom’s house or other houses.  I need someone who will continue my foster mom’s work of helping me understand that it’s ok to be near other dogs when I am on a leash.

I have some discomfort in my back end so I take medication and get a monthly shot that helps me feel better.  I would like a home that doesn’t have a lot of stairs.  Foster mom also discovered that I have seasonal allergies so I take medication to help me stop itching.

So, if you are looking for a calm, easy going guy, then come and meet me and I will steal your heart.
