Bio:

As you can tell from my photo, I’m a beautiful redhead, which makes my name – Cardinal – so appropriate. Also, like my namesake bird, I am quite timid. I take daily medication to help make life less stressful. You see, until I was rescued, I’d never lived in a house with humans, so I am still learning to navigate life as a human companion. I do love to be near my two canine foster sisters, and I’ve begun to follow my foster mom around too! In the evening, I enjoy snuggling up next to her while she watches shows on her tablet (right now I’m still afraid of that noisy box you call TV). I’m mostly house-trained; we don’t know if I like crates or being confined to a room. I’ve been OK when left alone with the other dogs for short periods of time. Foster mom says I’m a sweet cuddle bug who will make someone a great companion once I come out of my shell. That may take some time, so you’ll need to be patient. Might you be the one to help me find my wings?
