I would say I am pretty handsome, don't you think? My story started out kind of scary for me. I was dropped off at a shelter by my family when they were moving and couldn't take me. Then I was taken to this place called a vet and had something called a neuter surgery. Then I went to my foster home. I was really scared for a lot of days, but now I am settling in and starting to feel comfortable.
My foster parents have found out that I can't be in a crate or confined in a room, or I get upset. So, they let me just hang out in the house when they have to leave. I don't like to be left for a long time, so I would love a family that can be home with me most of the day. A quieter household is probably best since I do get nervous.
I also have a lot of energy. My favorite thing to do when foster mom lets me outside is run laps around their huge fenced in yard. I definitely need a fenced in yard because those things you stick to my neck are great to chew on, and I am an expert at getting them off of me. I also LOVE to play fetch and I will bring it right back to you and drop it in your hand. And, if you don't throw it fast enough, guess what? I will certainly let you know. I do have a voice. You know what else is really fun? Chasing the squirrels. I really like to make them run away from the yard. It's fun to watch.
I get along with other dogs, but it might take me a bit to warm up to them. If they are too crazy, I like to let them know. I might be better as an only dog in my new home. I am sweet and affectionate and a great boy. I know my commands and don't have any of those silly behaviors. I will be a great companion. Please come and check me out.
