Simply speaking, I’m just a happy guy! I seek attention from the people I come in contact with and love being near my foster parents! Getting petted is just the best!

I’ve had struggles with allergies. But thank goodness, since coming to As Good as Gold, the vet has been trying to make me feel better. The new dog food and injections seem to be helping, but foster mom says it takes time for these changes to really take hold. My entire coat can be itchy—my feet too. Nobody seems to know what I’m allergic to, but just to be sure, my feet are wiped when I come in from running on the grass. Already though, my coat feels better, but I need to be watched for hot spots!

So, this food I’m getting, let me tell you it’s delicious:! Royal Canin RX Hydrolyzed diet. I get if for treats sometimes too.

The vet said I’m healthy aside from the allergies, so I take daily allergy pill (foster mom sticks it in a yummy vegan marshmallow!). I like visiting the vet! They said to foster mom, “Everyone loves him here, he’s like a celebrity!”

I’m known to be lovable, fun and have become more spunky since the easing of the allergies. I like to run around in the yard and do lots of zoomies!

Adoption Process
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:

  • Be at least 23 years of age

  • No children under 6 years of age living in your home

  • We primarily adopt goldens to families living within Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and the southern most counties of Wisconsin

  • If you do not own your residence or live in a condo, you will need a letter from your landlord or property management company

  • Provide excellent vet care for your dog(s)

  • Do not use an invisible fence

  • Are not over your town/county's pet limit

  • Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

  • Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
