Bio:

Loving and lovely, that’s how my foster mom and personal trainer describe me. Those sound like good things to be. I’ll tell you what’s lovely: Living in a house where it’s warm, there’s plenty of food and nice, cushy things to lay on. Until a few months ago, I was living in a kennel environment and wasn’t exposed to the finer things in dog life. So, my circumstances have definitely changed for the better!

I love meeting new people of all ages and will happily accept all the attention and petting they are willing to give. Some might say I’m a charmer. During the day I like to follow foster mom around and settle nearby when she’s busy doing something.

As a retired breeder, there are many things I’ve never seen before. Consequently, I can be kind of timid in new situations. And I’ve never really gone for a walk on a leash, so learning how to do that is a work in progress. Me and foster mom are figuring it out with the help of a trainer.

While there are no other dogs in my foster home, I went to a sitter who has dogs, and I really enjoyed my time there. I’d love to have a forever home with a canine companion to show me the ropes and help me gain confidence.

I am not crazy about being in a crate, so foster mom gives me free reign of the house when she’s gone (however, she makes sure there’s nothing tempting on the counters before she leaves – apparently, I’m what you call an opportunist). I am not destructive when she’s gone.

I am eager and ready to find my forever family. Might that be you?
