Bio:

Saeko is retired from breeding and has some fears.  She is getting used to living in a home.  She is more social than most dogs retired from breeding situations.  She does not act like a 7 yo dog – she is a girl who likes to have fun! She loves toys, she loves running in the yard, she loves people, and she loves her quiet time. She would love training – and is very treat friendly! Sweet girl. She wakes up at dawn though! And barks until someone lets her out.

She is on medication for anxiety which should be continued.  She needs a patient family that will understand she needs time to continue to come out of her shell.

Adoption Process
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:

  • Be at least 23 years of age

  • No children under 6 years of age living in your home

  • We primarily adopt goldens to families living within Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and the southern most counties of Wisconsin

  • If you do not own your residence or live in a condo, you will need a letter from your landlord or property management company

  • Provide excellent vet care for your dog(s)

  • Do not use an invisible fence

  • Are not over your town/county's pet limit

  • Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

  • Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
