We adopted Presley – a Golden/Great Pyrenees mix in June, 2014. When we first arrived at her foster parents’ house – she was incredibly skittish – we weren’t even sure if she would get in the car with us to go home but, she did and our lives have never been the same! Presley was very much a puppy when we got her home – she needed potty training, lots of exercise and she had separation anxiety, requiring our patience until she became confident. After some time, much love, a puppy training class, our vet with great ideas and the repetition of daily routine – she became more confident with us and our home. AND – She’s an amazing dog! She loves playing in the snow, belly rubs, adores other puppies, long walks and liverwurst kongs! We love her so much and are so happy that we we’re matched with her. We joke that we wish we could clone her because she’s the best dog ever…she’s definitely made our lives better!
