Bio:

INTRODUCTION As written by Phoebe

Let me give you a glimpse into my world, a world where every moment is an adventure waiting to unfold. My name is Phoebe, a golden doodle, and though my journey began with uncertainty, I’m ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, laughter and endless exploration. I call it Phoebe’s Golden Adventure!

I am a retired breeder dog, but circumstances led me here to a place called “home.” At first, the unfamiliarity of it all made me shy and hesitant to trust the hands that reached out to me. But oh, how quickly I realized that these hands held nothing but kindness and warmth.

In the comfort of my foster home, I’ve learned to settle down and relax, especially when a cozy spot on the couch is waiting for me. I follow my foster mom everywhere and love cuddling on the couch with her. But don’t let my love for lounging fool you — I’m always up for an outdoor adventure! Whether it’s chasing after squirrels in the yard or simply basking in the sun, I’m happiest when I’m exploring the great outdoors.

I may be young, but my foster mom says I’m eager to learn and explore. Housetraining is a work in progress, but with patience and consistency, my foster mom says I’m making strides every day. And when it comes to leash manners, well, let’s just say I’m learning to master the art of walking with grace and poise.

BEHAVIOR:

Phoebe is a medium-to-high-energy dog with a few habits that need fine-tuning, like jumping on the couch and learning basic obedience.

HEALTH:

Phoebe is in good health overall, with just a touch of possible scar tissue at the ends of her ears.
