I am a very sweet dog and have been bounced around a lot in my short life.  I am a very smart dog and pick up on commands very quickly.  I am also very loving.  I just have a lot of energy that needs to be channeled.  I am learning to contain my energy, but it’s very hard.  I like to jump on people and have been learning that it’s not a polite way to greet people.  I can also be very mouthy, but my foster mom has helped me with this too.  I am just a very enthusiastic girl that will need continued positive training to become a wonderful companion.  I am very good with other dogs and go to daycare every day and have a blast playing.  I bet I would be a great agility or nose work dog.  I would love training and a job.  Are you ready for an enthusiastic, loving girl?

Adoption Process
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:

  • Be at least 23 years of age

  • No children under 6 years of age living in your home

  • We primarily adopt goldens to families living within Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and the southern most counties of Wisconsin

  • If you do not own your residence or live in a condo, you will need a letter from your landlord or property management company

  • Provide excellent vet care for your dog(s)

  • Do not use an invisible fence

  • Are not over your town/county's pet limit

  • Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household

  • Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
