Peluche square

My name, Peluche, suits me perfectly.  It means “plush” in English!  I look like a little stuffed toy and am a bundle of love.  I like to play, play, play and I am happy to entertain myself with my squeaky toys and tug ropes.  I am a very outgoing and friendly little guy and enjoy games of wrestle and chase with my foster fur siblings.  I love children, but for now my interaction should be limited to older kids.  When I get the zoomies, I could accidently knock over the pint size ones! My daily walks give me a chance to see new sights, hear new sounds and burn off some of my puppy energy.  Foster mom is so proud of my leash manners which seem to improve with every stroll.

After a full day of play and exercise, I like nothing better than to curl up for ear scratches and cuddles with my humans.  My crate is my favorite place to sleep and I go through the whole night without an accident.  My potty training during the day is improving as long as I am let out every few hours.  After all, puppies like me have small bladders!

Because I am still young, I need to learn to control some of my puppy behaviors.  When I get overly excited, I will sometimes give little nips or puppy bites.  I’m not being aggressive in any way, it’s just my way of getting your attention and encouraging you to play with me!  My foster mom is working on gentle correction and redirecting my enthusiasm so I learn what acceptable behavior is.

I am anxious to find a loving forever family who is willing to patiently continue my training so I can become a perfect gentleman and reach my golden potential.  It will be fun to watch me grow!

In order to adopt me or any young puppy from As Good as Gold, you need to meet the following criteria:

Must be home most of the day or have ways to let me out.  My bladder is little, so I can only be left about 4-5 hours at my age.

It is mandatory to take me to positive reinforcement obedience classes.  I need to go to puppy class and then a beginner class.
