COURTESY POSTING FOR GRRoW
Bonded Pair Oakley 21-018 & Kubota 21-019 are still looking for their forever home!

Oakley & Kubota are some of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet and are looking for their forever family. This dynamic duo loves to snuggle and give kisses. They just want to be near their humans! Both are 6 and have been together since they were 12 weeks old. They are bonded and will need to find a home together.

Oakley is a golden with a bit of poodle mixed in, while Kubota is all golden doodle. These two dogs just want to lay around and chill during the day, but they love to go for walks and ride in the car.

Both have a bit of anxiety, which is demonstrated by barking at the people and pups that are walking by their foster home. However, they are taking some medication, and this has improved. But we still feel that the best home for them is one in a quiet neighborhood or out in the country. A fenced yard is preferred!

They can be left home all day without any issues, though they’d prefer to have their humans home more often than not. When they came into GRRoW they were master counter surfers! However, we have made considerable improvement on that; but, Kubota, especially will continue to need more training.

They know sit, down and come. On command, they will sit patiently until given the “ok” for their dinner. They were raised with children. However, due to a past history of eating things he shouldn’t (Kubota), the safest home for them will be one with older (or no) children, where things (like socks) aren’t left out. They do fine with other mellow dogs, and their leash skills continue to see improvement (they do pull a bit and are strong). We are unsure how they would be with cats.

These two guys deserve a home that will love them and integrate them into their family and in return, you will be rewarded with years of love and companionship.
