Bio:

Introduction As told by Nora

I used to be a bit of a mystery. The world seemed like a big, bustling place, and I wasn’t sure how to fit in. But then I met Pumpkin, a wise and welcoming dog who showed me the ropes of living in a home. As a retired breeding dog, I didn’t know what a “home” was. Together, we explored the wonders of the house, the joy of belly rubs and the thrill of chasing squirrels (in the safety of a fenced yard, of course!).

Now, I’m a blossoming adventurer and wondering wanderer! I know my way around a house. I navigate stairs with a cautious hug to the wall (safety first!). I even use the special doggy steps to hop into the car — sometimes with a little encouragement from Pumpkin. I love riding in cars! And I love hikes in the conservation park, happily sniffing out new scents and soaking up the sunshine.

Foster mom says I’m a champion cuddler. Just like any good adventurer, I know the importance of rest. I love to snuggle up with my favorite stuffed animals and human friends (when they offer a cuddle, of course!).

Foster mom also says I’m a quick learner. I already know basic commands like “outside,” “come here” and “wait.” I’m working on mastering “sit” — sometimes it turns into a lie-down, but hey, who can resist my big brown eyes?

While I may have been shy at first, I now am curious about meeting new people. It might take me a moment to warm up but let me give you a friendly sniff while you say a gentle hello, and you will win me over in no time. The same goes for other dogs! I’ve learned to greet them politely (no more pulling on the leash!) because who knows — maybe they’ll become my future adventure buddies.
