My name is Layla and I am 1 year old.  I am a young and spunky golden retriever. I am a very high energy girl who needs a lot of exercise. But I’m also very smart and have learned a great deal from my wonderful foster mom who is a trainer.  I love when it’s time for training and am a quick learner.  I will need someone that will continue my positive reinforcement training and give me plenty of exercise.

My best attribute is that I am a very sweet and loving dog who loves people and will snuggle with them.  I love to lay on my back and get my belly scratched any time someone is willing to do it.

I am a petite little girl at 50 pounds and would love to snuggle with you on the couch.  I probably was allowed on furniture in my previous home because I have no problem jumping right up, but foster mom is trying to teach me not to.

I love to fetch a ball, but still have to learn to bring it back to you to keep the game going.  I haven’t been around cats so it’s not known how I will react.  I am ok with slow introductions to other dogs.

If you are looking for an active girl to join your active lifestyle, then I am your girl.
