Bio:
Well, I am one lucky girl! Earlier this year, my previous owner left me at a Kentucky shelter with a badly broken leg. One of AGaG’s volunteers heard about my plight, and the rescue agreed to transport me to Illinois. Initially my vets weren’t sure they could save my leg because it broke in a tricky spot. But they did save it by casting it for two months and then starting me in physical therapy, which I love!
I am house-trained, crate-trained and comfortable in a restricted area. I love running in the yard and playing with stuffies. I’m good about settling in the house. I enjoy meeting new people and being petted, but I’m not a real needy girl. While foster mom has dogs of her own, I haven’t interacted with them much because I get nervous around other dogs. That’s why we think I might do best as the only dog in the house.
My foster mom has been with me every step of my recovery and calls me resilient. She also says I’m sweet and snuggly and give the best kisses! Pretty soon I’ll be ready for the next step in my journey: Finding my forever home. Might it be with you?
