Bio:

So, yes, I am a big dude. But I’m a big, lovable and (I’m told) a goofy dude. I may weigh 105 pounds, but I think I’m the size of a chihuahua and therefore a lapdog. I love nothing more than plopping down on top of my foster parents when they sit on the floor. And sometimes I try to keep them there by putting my legs over their legs.

I love playing with toys, going for walks and riding in cars. And I really, really, really like people. That’s where I have some trouble – I just get so excited when I meet people that I get a little crazy. But I have a fun trainer who is working with my foster parents and I’m making great progress.

I also like other dogs; when my foster parents’ granddog comes over I really enjoy being with her. She lets me know when I’m being too pushy and corrects me appropriately. When she is with us, I tend to hang with her. I don’t need another dog in my forever home, but if you have one it should a calm, tolerant dog who can teach me dog-dog rules.

I spend my days getting walks, romps in the yard and following my foster parents around. While I’d rather go with them when they leave (I sometimes try to sneak out – it’s hard being sneaky at my size, though!), I’m OK by myself. And when they’re home, I will settle when they settle.

So, if you’re looking for a dude who can go with the flow, I’m your guy.
