Introduction As told by Cider

If you’re seeking a sweet and devoted companion, I’m your furry friend. I’m a retired breeder dog hoping to find a new home filled with love. I am super affectionate and love to give everyone kisses. I also love dogs, cats and kids, so what is not to love about me?

My foster mom describes me as easygoing, happy-go-lucky and loving. Since settling into her home, I tend to follow her everywhere. She takes me on walks with her dog, Paris, who has become my best friend. Paris has been a great help in my adjustment to living in a home.

The dog park is my playground paradise. I love meeting up with my furry buddies. I enjoy running, playing chase and having tons of fun with them. Another activity I love is going on car rides. I’m still perfecting the art of jumping into the car, but once I’m inside, it’s smooth sailing. I kick back, relax and enjoy the ride to wherever the adventure takes us.

Now, let’s talk pampering – because who doesn’t love a good spa day? My absolute favorite indulgence is getting a pedicure at the groomer’s. The attention I receive makes me feel like royalty, and the car ride there and back is an enjoyable bonus. I’m a dog who knows how to appreciate the finer things in life.

And last but certainly not least, let me introduce you to my bedtime buddy – Lamp Chop, the stuffed animal extraordinaire. Every night, I cuddle up with Lamp Chop, and also take care of a bunch of other stuffed buddies throughout the day.

BEHAVIOR

Cider is a low-medium-energy dog. She is learning basic obedience commands and enjoys playing with other dogs. She gets along very well with other dogs, adults and children and is very warm and friendly, kissing them when she meets them.

HEALTH

Cider is in good health overall, but has a minor heart murmur (level 2-3) and does not require medication for it. Her foster mom reports that she is very active and does not get too winded when running and playing at the dog park.

ADDITIONAL INSIGHTS

If you’re ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your life – a furry friend who’s overflowing with love, enjoys playdates at the dog park, relishes car rides and appreciates a good pampering session – look no further than Cider! She is ready for a loving home with active members, both two- and four-legged, to shower her with love.
