INTRODUCTION As told by Carmel

I am a very affectionate, playful and happy puppy. I am still learning still learning to be comfortable in this great big world after starting life as a breeder dog, but I am making great progress. I was adopted before, but my previous family could not spend enough time with me, so they returned me. I am now ready for my forever home.

My foster mom takes me to the park and the beach, where I run around and play with the other dogs. At the beach, I even tried swimming and was really good at it! I love it when people pet and scratch me and also to roughhouse with my foster mom and her dog. When I am not running around and playing with other dogs, I love to cuddle with my human on the couch.

 BEHAVIOR

Carmel, like many former breeder dogs, is a bit nervous, but she is becoming more confident every day.

HEALTH

Overall she is very healthy. She is taking Fluoxetine for anxiety but  is expected to be taken off that after settling into her new home and consulting with your veterinarian.

ADDITIONAL INSIGHTS

Carmel is a very affectionate and playful dog. She loves to go for walks and runs, so an active family would be ideal for her. Carmel has made significant progress with her foster family and is ready for a forever home with another dog.
