We had a golden retriever for 14 years. After 2 years without one, we decided it was time to consider bringing another into our lives. We wanted to help AGAG by fostering, unsure if we were ready for a full time commitment. Then AGAG contacted us seeking a foster home for Blue. Blue jumped out of the van and ran right into our house upon arrival. We all started bonding with Blue and I’m thinking – do we want to keep her? Is there another family out there for Blue?  We had mixed feelings, but decided we wanted to adopt Blue. I told AGAG this was a Foster Failure and we were allowed to adopt Blue.

Blue is now two years old and loves chasing squirrels and going on long walks. Recently we took Blue to the AGAG picnic at Busse Woods. It was great meeting members of AGAG and seeing so many beautiful Golden Retrievers. I work from home and Blue is my constant companion. I want to thank AGAG for the wonderful work they do.
