I’m just a youngster and am getting my first taste of living in a home situation. I am not really interested in toys, but I love playing and wrestling with other dogs, especially my fur foster brother Casey. I am still a little hesitant about warming up to unfamiliar humans. I have, however, learned that they give good pats and ear rubs! I like to snuggle with Foster Mom and she laughs when I give her big puppy kisses.
I enjoy going on car rides and after I get a little boost in, I sit quietly and watch the world go by. Just call my name and I will come running, especially if we are going outside. Leash walks are always a fun adventure and I walk very nicely for a young pup. I have been known to climb over gates to escape areas I am confined to, but I have learned to willingly go into my crate and snooze while my family is away from the house. I was recently introduced to the word “No” when Foster Mom caught me chewing on the Christmas tree. I was embarrassed and ran to my safe spot which is anywhere on her bed. I am easy going, a little on the shy side and am definitely not an alpha-type guy. The little tan freckles on my face and legs add to my charming good looks and compliment my sweet personality.
I need to join a family that has a dog who will be my companion and teach me acceptable dog behaviors. I will need someone home with me most of the day or arrange for a surrogate to play with me and let me out during the day. As with all youngsters, I need to go to school to learn how to be a well-mannered member of your pack. Obedience classes that we attend will help you bond with me and for me to make new fur friends. What could be more perfect?
