The first annual Campton Hills Ugly Sweater Holiday Dog Walk is going virtual! We are so excited about this fun and festive event concept that we have decided to make it available to even more of you. We have received many comments about people not being able to attend the event due to conflicting holiday plans, dogs that have social walking challenges, and also concern for potential dog influenza. Turning it into a virtual event will allow many more dogs and families to join in the fun!
Sign-up and Raffle
If you haven’t already, you can still sign your dog up online by Saturday December 2nd, to join us in this fun charity event. Each entry fee will help to support As Good as Gold and will enter your dog in the event raffle.
- A gift basket from Just for Paws (retail value $100)
- A bag of ARF Meatballs from Always Real Food
- A holiday dog bed and toys from As Good as Gold (retail value $100)
How to Participate
Although we won’t be walking in a group together, the idea is to dress up in your most festive and fun holiday sweaters and accessories and take photos to send to us which we will in turn, post in a slide show on our YouTube channel as well as our social media pages to bring holiday joy and giggles to all. And of course, we encourage you to take your furry friend(s) on a nice long walk in your festive attire to bring smiles and holiday cheer to your neighbors as well!
Please come by and support Just for Paws and Always Real Food fresh food deli, both located in the Campton Crossings in Campton Hills. There will be special in-store and on-line discounts available on Saturday, December 2nd.
- Just for Paws will have a Golden Discount of 30% off all holiday merchandise.
- Always Real Food will donate the proceeds from all meatball sales to As Good as Gold. Meatballs are what they are famous for and make a great holiday treat for your canines.
As Good as Gold representatives will be on hand at both Just for Paws and Always Real Food on Dec 2nd from 12-3 to answer questions about the organization, adoption, fostering, and opportunities to volunteer.
Thank you for helping support us in spreading some doggy holiday cheer!
