Here is a line-up of some of the fun and exciting activities that will take place after the walk:
|11:00 – 11:30||Explosive Detection Demo
U.S. Marshal Frank Kruchten and black Labrador Retriever Hope will show how specially trained dogs detect explosives.
|11:30 – Until all are tested||Canine Good Citizen Test
The American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) is a certification program that evaluates dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed, noncompetitive atmosphere. There is a $10 fee to register for the test (members can get it for free by entering a special code that was in the 8/29 member newsletter) and any dog is eligible to take the CGC test. Testing takes place at 20 minute intervals, so sign-up for your time slot at the Canine Good Citizen Massage tent.
